After a career in secondary education, Tyler Auffhammer made the transition to the world of journalism. He got his start at the Mountaineer in western North Carolina, where he later became sports editor and social media manager. Tyler joined NC Health News in July 2023.
Tyler is a graduate of Western Carolina University.
