Haugh has stated that he is a single-issue candidate who supports the legalization of marijuana.
“I have decided to make my campaign entirely about full legalization of marijuana in NC and will be running on that single issue. Vote for me to send a message to our General Assembly that you want legal marijuana now.”
He added: “Sorry if that’s a little disappointing, because those are great questions. In general, I would like to see the department be more active in coordination between all the various state agencies that are charged with addressing pollution.”
