NC Cooperative Extension staff helped create a “borrowing kitchen” at a local food pantry, where clients could participate in nutrition demonstrations and take out kitchen equipment and utensils to use at home for a month at a time. The program is one of 79 projects across the state designed to combat obesity in four North Carolina Counties. Credit: NC Cooperative Extension
