Grays Creek resident Mike Watters gives his statement to EPA officials during the public comment period for local residents on Tuesday. Watters is one of five well owners who have an experimental granulated activated charcoal filter installed by Chemours which is supposed to filter out of the PFAS in the water. He says he’s not convinced the filters can be effective long term and is pushing the state to have Chemours pay for tying Watters and his neighbors into municipal water. Photo credit: Rose Hoban
