Alicia Rodgers and a “Strike Team” Nurse

Alicia Rodgers, a resident at Cherry Springs Village, an assisted living facility in Hendersonville, North Carolina, smiles wide as she stands beside a masked nurse on the facility's outside porch. Her sister Laura Moore, who took the photo on a socially-distanced visit, said Rodgers particularly bonded with the nurse, named Madeline, who came to care for Alicia from Wake Forrest, several hours away, as part of the Henderson County strike team's efforts to stop a COVID-19 outbreak in the facility.
